![]() Welcome to the Office of Safety and SecurityThe mission of TC3’s Office of Safety and Security is to ensure for the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors and maintain the security of the college and its facilities. Uniformed security officers patrol the campus, on foot and in motor vehicles, to help prevent incidents that affect the lives and property of our people. The Office of Safety and Security is located on the first floor of the main campus in room 118. The office consists of the director of safety and security, a security supervisor and three security officers. The security supervisor is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). All security officers have been trained in first-aid, CPR, and AED, and are licensed through New York state in accordance with the requirements of the Security Guard Act. What is an Emergency?
Reporting EmergenciesAny student, employee, or visitor on campus can report suspected crime or other incidents to the Office of Safety and Security by calling Ext. 4290 from any campus phone. Campus security officers enforce college rules and regulations, and serve as liaisons between the college and local law enforcement and emergency service agencies. Campus security will contact Tompkins County 911 for emergencies requiring an ambulance, fire department, or police. If anyone other than campus security contacts 911, they must contact campus security immediately. | ||
