Volunteerism

Volunteerism and the desire to make positive social change should be on the mind of every student at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Student Activities, Room 116 can provide you with information about a number of local service agencies throughout the three county area who are in real need of your assistance. If you have the time to be a volunteer, we can provide you with resources to make the best choice for the use of your time.

Remember, by being involved in your larger community you begin to network and strengthen your interpersonal and communication skills. You can also gain valuable resume experience and feel good about lending a helping hand.

In addition, Student Activities sponsors a campus-wide, one-day service project each semester. The project is designed to bring attention and effort to a good cause in our community and to make a difference.
