![]() Leadership Education Development"In today's competitive job market, recent graduates need to demonstrate how their college experience yielded more than just a degree. Undergraduate students should seek out campus clubs and other organizations that provide opportunities to use and develop leadership, interpersonal, event planning, fund-raising, and other skills that easily transfer to the workplace. Prospective employers also value volunteer activities that offer the chance to gain valuable experience through community service projects and philanthropic efforts. Having these kinds of experiences can make a difference in getting the job you really want." — Ithaca Journal The “Lunch Bunch” is an interactive collaboration with student club and organization representatives from across the campus. Programs are offered each semester and have included guest speakers, lunch and dinner programs, field trips and more. The program's focus is on problem solving, information sharing, brainstorming, and developing the skills necessary to be effective and efficient leaders. The program is facilitated by the Student Activities Office, room 519 in the Student Center. For information about the leadership development program email the Student Activities Office. |
