Student Grievance Process

College Grievance Scope

A student grievance is defined as the complaint of a student against an instructor or other employee of the college. The complaint may be of the following:

  • A violation, misunderstanding, or inequitable application of a regulation or policy of the college. This may have originated in the procedures for handling either academic or non-academic infractions of the code of conduct.
  • Prejudiced, capricious, or manifestly unjust academic evaluation.

Faculty Student Association Grievance Scope

A student grievance is defined as the complaint of a student against an employee of the Faculty Student Association (FSA) based upon any claimed violation, misinterpretation, misapplication or inequitable application of a regulation or policy of the FSA.
