Don't forget the NAIA
While not as well known as the NCAA the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) does support 284 schools in athletics. The NAIA is very similar to the NCAA in that they have Divisions I, II, and III; they have their own eligibility rules; and they offer their own forms of scholarships.
