2002 Highlights

TC3 vs. Genesee CC

Dryden—TC3 made it nine straight with a sweep of Genesee CC, rallying late in both games for 12-8 and 10-4 wins. TC3's bats remained hot as the hosts pounded out 13 hits in each game. The Panthers are now 13-2 overall.
 
TC3 dominated play in game one until disaster struck in inning six. Leading 7-1, TC3 fell apart in the field, committing six errors as Genesee scored seven to take the lead. Showing the team's character, TC3 came back with five in the bottom of the inning and the shut down the Cougars in the seventh to secure the win. Tiffany Horton (Athens/Athens, PA) had another solid all-around performance, striking out seven to pick up her seventh win while going 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI's. Hot-hitting Angela Coraci (Union Springs/Auburn, NY) went 3-for-4 with three runs scored to spark the winners.
 
Game two was similar to one - - TC3 again saw an early lead disappear before rallying for the win. After taking a 2-0 lead in the third, TC3 gave up four in he fifth to fall behind. A seven run sixth inning was the difference as the Panthers rolled to the win. Laura Thomas (South Seneca/Interlaken, NY) tossed a four-hitter for her second win of the season. Rochelle Foster (Dryden/Dryden, NY), Kira Sage (Groton/Groton, NY), and Sheena Adger (East/Rochester, NY) each added two hits and a double to the attack.
