Panthers Cold on Cold Night
Watertown—The TC3 women's offense matched the frigid weather outside as the Panthers lost to Jefferson Community College 50-38 in Watertown Monday. The loss drops TC3 to 6-17 overall and 1-9 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson improves to 4-16 overall and 1-9 in the MSAC.
In a game that was originally scheduled for last week but postponed due to the weather, TC3's offense appeared to be under the weather. The Panthers managed just 16 points in the first half, but managed to enter the break tied with the home team. A slightly better second half on the offensive end wasn't enough as the Panthers lost for the seventh straight time.
Jenn Iler (Owego Free Academy/Apalachin) was the only Panther to reach double figures, scoring 14 points.
TC3 is home Wednesday against Corning Community College. It is the final home game of the season for the Panthers.
