Panthers Improve to 4-0 in Conference with Win Over Corning
Dryden—The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team improved to 4-0 in Mid-State Athletic Conference play with a 95-69 win over Corning Community College Tuesday. The Panthers are now 8-7 overall. Corning drops to 6-10 overall and 1-2 in the MSAC.
All 12 TC3 players scored as the Panthers rolled to the win. TC3 trailed 44-42 at the half before outscoring the Red Barons 53-25 in the second half. Tyrone Clark (Elmira Free Academy/Elmira) led all scorers with 23 points. Jailaan Kinsey (Jamesville-Dewitt H.S./Dewitt) added 13 points to go with five assists and five rebounds. Brandon Reed (Corcoran H.S./Syracuse) posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds and Floyd Leroy (Albertus Magnus H.S./Spring Valley) and Adam Malheur (Mount Vernon H.S./Mount Vernon) each netted 10 points.
TC3 hosts Onondaga Community College Saturday.
