Panthers Open MSAC Play with Road Win

Canandaigua—The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team won its Mid-State Athletic Conference opener Tuesday, beating Finger Lakes Community College 72-69 in Canandaigua. The win ups TC3's overall record to 5-6.
 
Sophomores Tyrone Clark (Elmira Free Academy/Elmira) and Jailaan Kinsey (Jamesville-Dewitt H.S./Dewitt) led the Panthers. Clark scored 17 points while grabbing seven rebounds and passing out five assists. Kinsey tossed in 16 points while dishing out six assists. Brandon Reed (Corcoran H.S./Syracuse) added 11 points while pulling down nine rebounds.
 
TC3 hosts Jefferson Community College Thursday at 7 p.m.
