Panthers Fall at Nation's #1

Herkimer—The Tompkins Cortland Community College men's basketball team lost to the nation's top-ranked team Wednesday, falling 103-82 at Herkimer County Community College. TC3 is now 2-6 while Herkimer moves to 7-0.
 
The Panthers trailed 50-33 at the half. Jamell Walker (Mount Vernon H.S./Mount Vernon) finished the game with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Jailaan Kinsey (Jamesville-Dewitt H.S./Dewitt) had 19 points and Bryce Elie (Queens H.S. of Teaching/Queens) posted a double-double of 16 points d 10 rebounds. Damani Ashton (Mount Vernon H.S./Mount Vernon) added 13 points.
 
TC3 returns to action this weekend at Corning Community College's Tarantelli Classic. The Panthers play Saturday against Cumberland County College (N.J.).
