Each week during the sports seasons, TC3 recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of a student athlete.

December 5

Danielle Salisbury, Women's Basketball

Danielle (Cortland HS/Cortland) posted her third double-double of the year this week, scoring 10 points while grabbing 11 rebounds against Durham College. She also led the Panthers in scoring on Saturday, pouring in eight points against Division II Jamestown Community College. On the year she is leading the team in points and rebounds per game, coming within less than a point and two rebounds per game of averaging a double-double.

November 28

Jared Martin, Men's Basketball

Jared (Canton HS/Canton) helped the Panthers to a win over Schenectady County Community College in the only game of the week. He scored 14 points, led the team with 6 assists, and grabbed 4 rebounds. He drained a pair of three-pointers at crucial times - one coming in the final minute of the first half to give the Panthers momentum heading into the break and the second coming in the early stages of the secodn half when TC3 took control. It was the second straight game Martin hit multiple three pointers.

November 21

Anthony Toulson, Men's Basketball

Anthony (Frederick Douglas HS/Bronx) had a big week. He opened the week with a 19-point effort against SUNY Delhi. Later in the week, he posted his first double-double of the season. Playing at SUNY Cobleskill on Thursday, Toulson went for 21 points and 10 assists, including eight assists in the second half. He also added four rebounds to the effort.

November 14

Jillina Wallace, Women's Basketball

Jillina (Elmira Free Academy/Elmira) played a major role in TC3's first win of the season. Playing at North Country Community College on Saturday, she posted her first collegiate double-double. She led the team with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also posted three blocks, two steals, and two assists.

October 17

Ashley Finton, Women's Soccer

Ashley (Homer HS/Homer) continued her stellar play this week, helping the Panthers to three big wins. On Wednesday, the midfielder picked up an assist in the 2-0 win at SUNY Delhi. Friday saw TC3 clinch the conference title with a 4-2 win at Jefferson, with Ashley scoring the game-winner among her two goals. Sunday's 3-0 win at Corning gave TC3 a 6-0 record in conference play, the first tim the Panthers have ever finished perfect in conference. Ashley again did her part, scoring the first goal of the game and assisting on the final tally.

October 10

Kyle Chmieleski, Men's Soccer

Kyle (Red Creek HS/Red Creek) had a big day in the men's soccer team's only game of the week. In Tuesday's 3-2 win over Broome, Kyle scored twice, including the game-tying goal with under seven minutes left in regulation. His hard work at the top of the attack kept TC3 in the game early, and his determination and energy helped give the team the confidence to make the dramatic comeback. On the year, he is leading the team in scoring.

October 3

Danielle Salisbury, Women's Soccer

Danielle (Cortland HS/Cortland) posted a pair of shutouts in goal for the Panthers. In a 5-0 win over Morrisville State, she recorded one save in preserving the victory. Against Jamestown, she made several exceptional plays, including making three saves. In the 2-0 win over Jamestown, she accomplished the rare feat of recording a shutout in goal and assisting on a goal, as one of her punts fed a teammate for a breakaway score.

September 26

Amanda Christofferson, Volleyball

Amanda (Dryden HS/Dryden) helped the Panthers to three wins this week. On Wednesday, she had a great all-around match, finishing with 23 assists, 7 kills, and 5 digs while TC3 swept a three-game match from Jefferson. On Sunday, the Panthers were winners over both Erie and Niagara, and Amanda again played a major role. TC3 swept three-game matches against both teams, and Amanda finished the day with 39 assists, 7 kills, and 2 aces. For the week, she averaged 6.9 assists and 1.6 kills per game.

September 19

Heather Kowalczyk, Women's Soccer

Heather (Broadalbin-Perth HS/Amsterdam) had a big weekend for the Panthers. On Saturday, she led the team to a 6-0 win by scoring a goal and assisting on two others. She followed that up by scoring both TC3 goals in Sunday's 4-2 loss. On the season, she has scored a goal or more in each game and has a total of seven goals and four assists in five games.

September 12

Jesse Russell, Men's Soccer

Jesse (Spencer-Van Etten HS/Spencer) came up huge in the men's only game of the week, a 2-1 win over Finger Lakes Community College in TC3's conference opener. In Sunday's win, he recorded six saves, including two spectacular diving saves on shots from inside the box, to earn the win. Russell, who is likely to graduate as TC3's winningest goalkeeper, has a goals against average of 1.0 for the season.

September 5

Jonathan Kenchen, Men's Soccer

Jonathan (South Kortright HS/Stamford) has made a huge splash on the collegiate soccer scene. Over his first five games, he has scored five goals, accounting for over half of TC3's offense. After scoring both of TC3's goals in the season-opening tournament, Kenchen scored three time in three games this week. His tally against Hudson Valley on Wednesday tied the contest, forcing overtime. On Sunday, he again accounted for the entire TC3 offense, scoring both goals as the Panthers posted a 2-1 victory.
