Orientation schedules
Orientation programming for Residence Life students will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 24. You will receive your schedule of orientation activities for Monday evening, Tuesday and Wednesday from your RA. Your daytime Wednesday activities only are discussed below.
Orientation programming for commuter students consists of two parts:
1. A four-hour session that will focus on the information you need to “Start Smart” and understand the TC3 culture and community. These sessions will be limited to 75 students so we can address your individual needs and questions. All sessions will begin in the Student Center and are available on:
- Tuesday, August 11, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
- Thursday, August 13, 1–5 p.m.
- Monday, August 17, 5:30–9:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 19, 1–5 p.m.
College offices will be open before or after each session.
Sign up for your preferred session by calling 607.844.8222, Ext. 4287 or 4521, by filling out a form at course registration or online.
AND
2. All New Students activities and programs on Wednesday, August 26. No registration is required and programs are described below.
Are you a student who has been out of school for five years or more? There is an additional orientation session specifically for you on Tuesday, August 25, 5–7:30 p.m., in the Student Center. More information is available by calling 607.844.8222, Ext. 4260.
ALANA (African, Latino, Asian, and Native American) Student Reception

ALL STUDENTS 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in cafeteria area:
- Job Fair for on-campus work - Workstudy (Financial Aid program) and Non-Workstudy. Workstudy authorizations will be available.
- Financial Aid, Public Safety, Health Services, and Campus Technology staff to answer your questions and resolve any issues
- Information on new meal plans, including one for commuter students
- Banks, cell phone companies and local vendors with special deals for our new students.

ALL STUDENTS General registration in Cafeteria - You will receive a TC3 mug and bag filled with information including a TC3 planner to help you manage your life as a college student
