Hands-on Web Course Orientation

Wish someone would show you how to easily navigate your course and access available online academic support resources? Your wish is granted! While the workshop is part of the new student program, all students wanting help taking a distance education course are welcome.

Sessions are scheduled in the Baker Commons classroom (2nd floor) on

There’s so much more to college life than just the classroom. Being involved in a student club or organization can provide you with skills that you will use throughout your life. Group decision making, compromise, listening, budgeting and finance, how to organize and conduct meetings, promoting and publicizing events are just a few of the opportunities available to you when you choose to get involved. Think your schedule is too busy or you don’t have time? Phooey! Make the time and make the choice to get involved; we guarantee it will be rewarding learning experience! Representatives from special interest clubs and organizations, student government, athletics, recreation sports, and the programming board will all be available to discuss their organizations. If you don’t find what you like, find out how you can start a new club. This program is all about opportunities and is sponsored by Student Activities, Student Advisory Board and Orientation – be there!
