Delivery Services at TC3 Extension Centers In Ithaca and Cortland

Free Book delivery to your TC3 Extension Center.
Save time. Save gas. Save money.

We provide delivery service of books and documents to TC3 Extension Centers in Cortland and Ithaca. These include items in our collection and items we borrow from other libraries for you.

Create an ILLiad Account

In order to request an item you need to create an ILLiad account by going to First Time User Registration.

Choose your delivery location when you fill out this form. The three locations that books are delivered to are the Dryden campus, the Ithaca Extension Center, and the Cortland Extension Center.

Once your delivery location has been selected, all items you request will be delivered to this location only.

Request a TC3 Book

Books in our catalog may be ordered and sent to the Extension Centers. When you find the book you are looking for, click the words "Request Item" in red letters at the top of the page and follow the ILL prompts.

Request an Interlibrary Loan

After you have completed the registration form you may search in the SUNY Union Catalog, the combined catalog of 62 SUNY libraries with over 61 million unique items; or WorldCat, a worldwide collection of library catalogs. To access these catalogs, go to our Library's Books and Media page. You will need to login to Worldcat with your 9 digit id number (starting with 7) if you are off-campus.

Inter-library loan requests from other libraries may be made and delivered to the Extension Centers if:

  • We do not own the item
  • Our copy is currently checked out
  • Our copy is missing
  • Our copy is on order

Track Your Requests

You can track your items through your ILLiad account. In your ILLiad account you can also cancel requests and renew items.

When the library receives your item, you will receive an email in your TC3 email account indicating it is in transit to the Extension Center location you selected when you registered.

You will need your TC3 Card to pick up your items.
