Frequently Asked Questions

I don't go to campus much. Should I get a College ID?
If you can conveniently make it to campus, it is a very good idea to get a TC3 ID. You will need it to check out books. Your ID card also gives you access to the libraries of 64 SUNY campuses, including SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Cortland and the Catherwood Library at the School of Industrial Relations at Cornell University.

How do I access the library databases?
Use the number on your TC3 ID card. Students or staff without a card can look up their ID number in myTC3.

I need help with research. Can I get it from off campus?
You can get 24/7 help through Ask a Librarian or call us at 607 844-8222, ext.4395 during library hours.

I am having trouble connecting to the library databases. I get a message about ID number "activation."
For technical help contact Bill Drew, 844-8222, ext. 4406.
