How Do I Find a Book?TC3 owns about 50,000 books. They are primarily purchased to support our degree programs, but there are also many wonderful surprises hidden in the stacks. You can search for books by subject or author, or for a particular title using the TC3 Library Catalog. The New Titles List shows you our most recent purchases. If you'd rather browse through the books in person check out the New Book shelf near the east entrance to the library. Always changing; always fascinating. If you need a book we don't have here at TC3 use the SUNY Catalog to search the combined holdings of 62 SUNY libraries and to request the book. This service is known as Interlibrary Loan. When you find the item you want use the Request Item link if you want us to get you something from another SUNY Library. Allow 1 to 2 weeks for your request to arrive at TC3. SUNY also maintains a New Titles List which you can browse by subject. For very specialized information needs, TC3 is a member of a worldwide consortium of over 50,000 libraries that share resources. If your needs are not met by our collection or the larger SUNY collection, a librarian can help you with a wider search. Last update: Friday, June 04, 2010 |
