Certain characters, such as quotation marks and semi-colons, cannot be placed into Quiz questions in Lotus Notes so that they show up in your quizzes on the Web. To overcome this problem, it is possible to create a graphic image of the character ( Please contact ETS at TC3 if you need help with this.) and insert it into the quiz question. You can also use this technique to insert any other graphic into a quiz question.

1. Create the graphic and save it as a GIF file.
   
   
2. Create a Hypertext Only document in your course.
   
   
3. Attach the graphic GIF file to your Hypertext Only document.
   
   
4. Place the following code into your question where you wish the graphic to appear:
