InterWrite Stylus Tablet Startup
Instructions
1. Begin with the Power switch on the tablet in the off
position [ O / | ]
2. Plug the
3. If the computer has not yet been turned on, turn it
on now.
4. When the computer is on, turn on the power button on the back of the Schoolpad.
5. You should hear a few beeps, and then, after a few
seconds, the device may connect. You can
tell it is connected when you see the following message in a yellow balloon in
the lower right-hand of the computer screen:
InterWrite Device Manager
SchoolPad F9:92 has connected
You can also tell that you are connected because the
mouse cursor will be controlled by moving the stylus across the tablet.
6. If the device does not connect, follow these
instructions:
a. ![]()
Right-click
on the InterWrite icon in your System Tray.
b. 
Select the Devices
option from the Menu.
c. 
In the Devices
box, click on the "Find Blue Tooth
Devices" button:

You will now see the "Find Bluetooth Devices" window:
e. After a short time, you the Start button will appear, and shortly after that,
the OK button will become
"un-grayed".
f. 
The stylus should now operate the mouse.
Click on the OK button here, and
again on the "Devices"
window.
NOTE: The Power Button in the back
of the tablet should
be placed in the
OFF position when the tablet
is not in use, or the
battery will wear down:

Left mouse click:
Tap
stylus on tablet once or
Press the lower portion of the button on the
side of the stylus
Double
click:
Tap stylus on tablet twice in succession
Right
mouse click:
Press
the upper portion of the button on the side of the stylus

Note that the toolbar
options may be implemented with a standard mouse,
as well as with the stylus tablet.
To turn on the InterWrite
toolbar:
Right click on the small
purple icon in the lower right of the computer screen: ![]()
then select Interactive Mode from the menu.
To close the toolbar, right click anywhere on the toolbar and select Exit InterWrite.
Normally you will select No when asked if you wish to save your
changes.
To select a marker:
There are two markers near
the top of the Toolbar.
Any screen can be annotated
in color by selecting either of the markers.

Note that the black triangle
beneath each marker provide
options for various marker colors, line sizes, etc.
To turn off the markers and remove the annotation,
click on the mouse icon.
