Educational Technology Services

The Educational Technology Services Department's mission is to provide the TC3 community with educational technology resources designed to improve the quality of learning.

We are well placed to help the College move closer toward its vision of being...leaders in creating environments that produce learning for success in the global society.

What we can do for you

ETS staff can help TC3 instructors provide students with:

• Online instructional environments such as our WebCT Online Classroom and SUNY Learning Network online courses.
• Classroom presentations using one of our three roving computers or our classroom laptop, which can be reserved at the media services counter. These can include PowerPoint slide shows, instructional websites, or any other digital information.
• Web resources including online instructional material designed by educators that you can provide for your students in or out of the classroom.
• Color overhead transparencies & scanning resources which you can produce yourself in the College Teaching Center.

ETS maintains an online classroom (using a system called WebCT) for TC3 instructors. With our online classroom, faculty can create full blown online courses, or can provide classroom students with additional online support.

ETS also works with the SUNY Learning Network (SLN) which provides faculty with resources for creating and managing online courses. We also provide assistance for those of our faculty who are using SLN.
