Open Computer Lab: Room 161A/B

50 Computers

48 Pentium IV 2.66GHz, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD
2 Pentium III systems
3 HP LaserJet 4050 Printers
1 HP ScanJet 5200C scanner

The computers are divided into several rows with each row accessing a specific printer as noted on the computer monitor. The systems have Microsoft Office XP Professional and OpenOffice.org's office suite installed on them. Ask us how you can receive a CD copy of the OpenOffice.org suite. Additional software packages include Visual Basic, Java, C++ and several tools for web page development. All of the computers have Internet access and have the latest version of Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Opera installed on them.

The Pentium IV computers support the use of USB storage media.
