| Subtotal |
|---|
| If it’s near the end of the course, cross out your two worst quizzes at left. Near the middle of the course, cross out your one worst quiz. | |
| Add up the quiz scores that remain and write your answer in the box at the right. | Quiz actual = |
| Count those same quiz scores, multiply by 15, and write your answer in the box at the right. | Quiz possible = |
| Copy the numbers from those two boxes to the next table. |
Now fill in your other scores. Don’t include any extra-credit assignments or any extra points for presenting your project to the class. Disregard the “possible” points for any assignment your class has not yet done.
To find possible points for professional conduct and attitude, count every full week of classes and multiply by 2, up to a maximum of 14×2 = 28.

| Subtotal |
| Divide subtotal actual by possible and record the answer at the right, rounded to the nearest percent. | Base % = |
| If Base % is under 60, STOP. You must have a passing grade to get extra credit. | |
| But if Base % ≥ 60, keep going. Copy the subtotal actual and possible to the first row of the next table. |
Enter your extra credit below. There are no “possible” boxes for extra credit because extra credit is added in, not averaged in.
