Advice from Summer 2007 Students

The Course Debriefing asks students for their advice to next semester’s MATH200 students. Here you’ll find every one of their replies, in no particular order and edited only for spelling. (Students complete the Course Debriefing anonymously, allowing them to be as honest as they want.)

You will notice a certain amount of repetition <grin> — that should tell you something.

• Do your homework and ask questions. Pay attention! It could result in an extra-credit point.
• Study hard. Statistics takes time.
• Ask questions and be sure to understand the material
• Study — the quizzes can make or break your grade.
• Do homeworks and understand, the why or the answers.
• Catch up every day. Don’t miss anything.
• Study the practice quizzes
• Do the homework carefully.

• Do homework!! Ask questions. Read the Allowable Handout carefully before tests to see what is in it.
