A community college
A community college typically offers two-year degrees that prepare students for direct entry into the workforce, or for transfer to a four-year institution. Tompkins Cortland Community College offers more than 40 degree programs, and our students regularly transfer to four-year institutions in New York and around the country and world.
Home away from home
The TC3 campus community is built with student success in mind. Our facilities are modern and exceptional, but our people truly define the TC3 community. Students are encouraged to work with their strengths, and, as part of the StrengthsQuest program, discover their particular areas of aptitude and learn how to utilize their strengths to succeed in any academic and professional field.
Students at TC3 also develop close relationships with our faculty and student advisers. The student advising page provides more detailed information about the advising relationship.
Our mission is student success, and the TC3 community is dedicated to helping students achieve their vision of success with the support of numerous people on campus. From the admissions office to the Dr. Lucille S. Baker Commons, the College offers an array of support services. The TC3 catalog provides a complete listing of student services.
