Tompkins Cortland Community College is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York state, just miles from Cornell University, Ithaca College, and SUNY Cortland, in a rural, yet progressive region with numerous educational, cultural, and outdoor opportunities.
Our campus community is small enough that you will come to know everyone within a short time, but remarkably diverse for a small school. The College was a pioneer in bringing international students to the College, and now welcomes students from more than 50 countries to campus.
International student services
The College offers numerous support services for all of our students, with special services also available for our international students. The Global Initiatives Office, in collaboration with other campus offices, directly supports all international students, with five employees providing specific visa support.
Global Education project coordinator
The project coordinator develops interactive initiatives, with the help of a variety of student life offices, directed to the needs and interests of international students. Examples include trips to local elementary schools to participate in cultural exchanges, International Education Week and International Women’s Day, the College's multicultural fest, and more.
