About Us
Our Programs

Tompkins Cortland Community College first entered the field of international education (IE) in 1992, when we began our partnership with World University in Madrid Spain. Since then, TC3 Global has made international education and cultural exchange one of the foundations of the college’s mission.

TC3 Global is comprised of 5 elements:

Global Traditions

Through this program, TC3 recruits and supports any F-1 visa students who are interested in obtaining an associate’s degree. With over 38 degree programs such as business administration, broadcast journalism, international business, computer information systems and biotechnology, TC3 can provide a strong foundation for further studies or excellent technical skills for immediate employment.

Global Connections

Global Connections is a unique program that allows students from a four-year university to earn a two-year degree from TC3 after studying at our college for two semesters. There is also an option to spend one year at a four-year university near us (Rochester Institute of Technology), and earn a bachelors degree. The student remains active at his "home" university, using transfer credits between the three institutions to earn three complimentary degrees in four years. The two U.S. degrees, plus almost two years living in the U.S., make students strong candidates for graduate schools and employment back home.

We have run our Global Connections program for over 12 years in Latin America and parts of Europe. We have over 35 partner universities that use the Global Connections program as a tool to recruit new students for their universities.
