CTC Equipment

The College Teaching Center at TC3 maintains two computers for faculty use as well as a color printer and a scanner. With this equipment, faculty can scan both graphic images and text, and can create customized color overhead transparencies for their own instructional needs.

The computers also have the following software programs installed, which are available for any instructor at the College:

  • Camtasia screen recording and editing software. This program is available only on the computer on the left in the CTC. See Camtasia Resources for tutorials and information on how to get started.
  • Paint Shop Pro, a full featured graphics processing program. See Paint Shop Pro Resources.

With this equipment, faculty can scan both graphic images and text, and can create customized color overhead transparencies for their own instructional needs.

Faculty can borrow a microphone and a Web Cam from Technology Services on the second floor of Baker Commons. We expect to have both of these devices installed onto the CTC computer soon. We are also looking into the purchase of a graphics tablet to be used with this system.

Please contact contact Bob Yavits if you would like help using any of this equipment.
