Waivers of Required Courses

You may initiate a request for a waiver of degree requirements or for a substitution of a required course by completing a waiver request form available in the Enrollment Services Center.

The waiver form must be signed by your advisor and the appropriate program chair before it is forwarded to the academic dean for final decision.

Waiver of any particular course does not reduce the credit requirements for graduation. Any student requesting a substitution (waiver) for a course that has a minimum grade of C or C- must meet this requirement for the course that is being substituted.
