![]() Dual Credit/AP Credit/CLEP ExamsThe college will award credit for advanced placement examination program tests taken through the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB). This offers ambitious secondary school students the opportunity to take advanced placement exams while they are in high school. The student must score a minimum of three on a scale of five. If you participated in this program in high school, have your advanced placement examination test scores from the college board sent to the admissions office when you apply. In addition to transfer and advanced placement credit, the college will award credit for certain non-traditional programs. Among these are tests from the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). CLEP offers six general examinations in English composition, humanities, mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, and history, which validate non-traditional learning equal to what is usually taught during the first year or two of college. About 30 additional subject examinations correspond to specific college courses taught across the country. To request further information, write to CLEP, P.O. Box 1822, Princeton, NJ 08541. |
