Basic Skills Requirements

The advisor will need to be sure that the student has the correct level of basic skills to enroll in each desired course. The basic skills issue may need to be addressed even beyond the student’s first semester. A student completing MATH 090 successfully may need to move on to MATH 095. A student completing RDNG 099 will need to enroll in RDNG 116 for the following semester. A student required to take pre-college courses in the first semester will need to repeat those courses if they are not completed with a “C” or better. Each TC3 course has a required basic skill level, and the list of these must be consulted until the student has completed all required developmental courses.
