Transcripts

The Office of Academic Records must receive a written request to send a copy of any official transcript, which bears the college seal. Due to the large volume of requests, the college requires at least two business days to send out requested transcripts.

Students are assessed a one-time, $20 fee for transcripts at the time of registration. Anyone who has not paid his or her financial obligations to the college will not receive transcripts from Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Students may request that an official copy of their permanent academic record be sent directly to a college or agency designated. All requests for transcripts must be made in writing as required by law — either by letter, through myInfo, which is part of myTC3, or with the transcript request form (PDF).

Requesting a Transcript Online

Students from 1986-present

IQ.Web is the easiest way to request a transcript; if you are a new user you will have to request access. Once you are logged in, select "TC3 transcript Request", fill in all parts of the form and submit.

If you do not have access to the internet or are a student who attended prior to 1985, we must have your request in writing. Please allow four to five working days for all other forms of request.

Online transcript requests will be sent out within two business days from the time of receipt by the Office of Academic Records.

Students attending TC3 prior to 1986

Please print the Web Record Activation form, and mail or fax the completed form (only once) to the address/fax listed below. This form will activate your records and allow you to process a transcript request online.

Request a Transcript in Writing

Please include the following information in your request:

current name and previous names
student ID (social security number)
current address
dates of attendance
complete address that the transcript is to be sent to
your signature
