myTC3 Account How To’s

How do I know when/if a refund check was sent to me?

  • Log in to your MyTC3 account
  • Click the My Info tab
  • Click on the Finances tab
  • Click Balance (located at the top of the page under the tabs)
  • Select the appropriate semester (on the left hand side)
  • Select the “detail by summary type” option (on the left hand side)
  • The summary type “refunds” will be near the bottom of the page and will show if a refund has been sent and the date it was sent.

How do I know if I have a book deferral?

  • Log in to your MyTC3 account
  • Click the My Info tab
  • Click the Finances tab
  • Select the appropriate academic year and click the submit button (ex. 2010-2011 academic year is 2010)
  • Here you will see the requested documents and if they have been received, your financial aid awards and below that table you should see a book deferral heading. If you have a book deferral available to you it will show the beginning amount here.*

* This shows the maximum amount of book deferral that is available to you and does not reflect any charges or returns you may have already done with the bookstore. This amount is calculated based on the number of credits you are enrolled in and the amount of anticipated financial aid you have that is above and beyond any charges due to the college.

How do I know if all required paperwork for Financial Aid is turned in?

  • Log in to your MyTC3 account
  • Click the My Info tab
  • Click Financial Aid (located at the top of the page under the tabs)
  • Select the appropriate semester and click the submit button (on the left hand side)
  • In the table you can see the name of the required document, if the document has been received, and the date that the document was received or was requested.
  • For most forms that are requested you can click on the name of the document to get a printable copy of that document.
  • For items that must be completed online you can click on the document name to be taken to that online item (ex. Promissory notes, entrance counseling).

How do I know what Financial Aid I have been awarded?

  • Log in to your MyTC3 account
  • Click the My Info tab
  • Click the Finances tab
  • Click Financial Aid (located at the top of the page under tabs)
  • Select the appropriate academic year and click the submit button
  • Under the heading of “Awards by academic term” you can see the aid you are eligible for and the amount.*

* The total fund amount and the scheduled term amount may not be the same amount. The scheduled term amount is the amount of that type of aid that you are eligible to receive for that specific term. The total fund amount is the total amount of that type of aid you are eligible to receive for all terms during the academic year (summer, fall, spring).
