From the Office of Public Safety

OPS is a fully recognized law enforcement agency that includes nine full-time sworn and armed law enforcement officers.

Hours of Operation
The OPS front office is open whenever the Main Building is open. While no one might be at the front desk at all times, there is a telephone by the front window, as well as at the OPS back door, that will connect you to an officer. Law enforcement coverage is available 24 hours a day.

Contacting OPS
There two main ways to contact OPS personnel.  One way (911) is for emergencies, the second way (607-844-6511 or 6511 or 4290 from a campus phone) is for non-emergency calls for service.

Everyone should call 911 to report an emergency.  The Tompkins County Department of Emergency Response (911 Center) is always in radio contact with TC3 OPS personnel.
