Tech Prep Tuition Free Eligibility

Eligibility

• You must enroll in Tech Prep by completing an enrollment form provided by your teacher.  Only students in Tech Prep programs are eligible.
• Your Tech Prep teacher may have a classroom policy for eligibility and you should ask about this.
• To enroll in a college course, you must take the Placement Test at TC3. The test is usually offered in November/December and June. See your Tech Prep teacher for the dates and how to sign up.
• The purpose of the placement test is to measure your reading, writing and math skills. Your scores on this test will help you select a course that matches your skills and abilities in these areas. Enrolling in a course appropriate to your skill levels increases the opportunity for a successful college experience.  We will use the placement test and your transcript to help you enroll in a course.   We will help you obtain a certificate of residency.  You are responsible for buying textbooks.
