Types of College Courses

Most students take introductory level courses at the 100 level.  Some common choices are liberal arts courses such as Academic Writing (ENGL 101), Pre-calculus (MATH 135), College Reading and Study Skills (RDNG 116), and Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 103), or career-related courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice (CRJU 105) or Computer Programming (CIS 108).  Students may also take other classes depending on their placement test scores and transcript.  Many classes are offered in the late afternoon or evening in Dryden, Ithaca, or Cortland.  Students may take classes in the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester.  You can view the course listings below.
