Study Skills Assistance

A variety of services and materials are available to help you to develop more effective and efficient study skills. The term "study skills" includes a wide range of topics including time management, organization, memory improvement, lecture note taking, textbook reading and marking, preparing for exams, and taking exams. Rick Grossman, the Center's learning strategies specialist, is available to help you determine which services and materials would be most appropriate to you. The Baker Center for Learning

The Baker Center for Learning (BCL) provides a variety of support services to help students achieve academic success. Services are FREE and staff members can help you determine which services will be of greatest value to you. Study skills, test-taking skills, reading, math and writing assistance are available for all classes. The BCL is located in Room 130, Ext. 4415.
