Rose Dovi

Graphic Arts, 2008

Rose Dovi is a testament to the growing strength of the TC3 Panthers athletics program. Rose came here to play softball, and soon was impressed with the strength of the Panthers schedule – a schedule that lets our student-athletes test their skills against some of the toughest competition in the region.

“We were able to play Colgate, Cornell, and Binghamton,” she says. “Going against them, and seeing how well we did against them this semester, it’s going to tell us how well we’re going to (perform) in the future.”

And it isn’t just the competition that makes Panthers athletics special, Rose says.
“I love the athletics program because everyone who is in it is really nice, and you get to know everyone from each sport,” she says. “You make a lot of friends.”

Rose also raves about TC3’s new athletic facility and fields, which features a new gym and field house for year-round training, a new baseball field, and a new softball field.

“I love the new athletics facility,” she says. “I was here during the summer, because I’m also a student worker (in admissions) in the summer, so I got to see the progress … . It was so exciting watching it being built. It’s amazing. Seeing how much bigger the gym is, and we finally have a new sports complex area. It’s awesome.”
