9 Use Schedule Search for electives

A student exempted from ENGL 100 must substitute a three credit unrestricted elective. The course should be selected in consultation with the student’s advisor.

Foreign Language Elective Sequence: (must complete in one language only)

Humanities Electives: A second foreign language, over and above the 6 - 7 credits required for category C, is acceptable and is strongly recommended for students planning to transfer to a SUNY Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree program.

Unrestricted Electives: Up to 3 FITN credits may be used toward the Unrestricted Electives requirements.
