A "C" or better grade is required in ENGL 100 and MATH 113.

A student exempted from ENGL 100 must substitute a three credit liberal arts or ECHD Elective. The course should be selected in consultation with the student’s advisor.

Liberal Arts & Sciences Concentration Electives: Early Childhood Teacher Education majors must complete Early Childhood course work and a concentration in a Liberal Arts and Sciences discipline. Specific courses should be chosen in consultation with the student’s advisor based on the intended four-year teacher education program.

Students should work closely with their faculty advisor for appropriate course selection. Information about SUNY four-year teacher education program requirements is available at http://www.suny.edu/tett/. Catalogs and web sites for teacher education baccalaureate degree programs should also be consulted.
