5th Annual TACT Conference,
Training Association for College Tutors
The 5th annual one day conference for college peer tutors in New York State is coming this fall! This excellent training opportunity will be held at Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden, NY on October 23, 2010. Keynote will be given by Dr. Chris Xaver, TC3 Professor of Communications and a dynamic and entertaining speaker! Experienced peer tutors will present conference sessions to their peers! This is a great training and networking experience for peer tutors (resume builder too)!
The theme of this year's conference is FISH!,a philosophy which was designed to help people feel good about what they do and increase positive interaction between colleagues and clients. The philosophy is based on four interconnected principles: Play, Make Their Day, Choose Your Attitude, and Be There. Come to the conference and learn more about it!
