There are many opportunities to bank in Dryden, Ithaca or Cortland. Be sure to bring your driver's license (U.S. residents) or passport (international students), your student ID card (with your picture), and your current local (on- or off-campus) address.
The best way to get the most up-to-date information on banks in our area is to use Google and search "Dryden, NY banks"; or, if you are searching for banks specific to Ithaca or Cortland, search "Ithaca" or "Cortland, NY banks."
Note for International Students and Scholars
Many international students and scholars find it helpful to choose a bank who has an ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) on-campus. During orientation every Fall/Spring semester many banks come to campus to speak about special accounts for new students. Generally, international students and scholars move money from a home country bank to their new account here in the U.S. through a wire transfer process they find out about through their new bank.
The Cornell International Students and Scholars Office also offers general information about banking in Ithaca, with specific information about banks on the Cornell University campus.
