Locations

The Main Campus is in Dryden, New York, with Extension Centers in Ithaca and Cortland. TC3 also offers several online courses.

Main Campus

The main Dryden campus encompasses 220 acres and features one unique two-story structure. Located inside the building are the gymnasium, pool, computer labs, child care center, library, and classrooms.

Degrees

The College offers 38 academic degree programs leading to an associate degree. Academic programs range from accounting to computer forensics to criminal justice to nursing to communication and media arts.

Library

In addition to housing 45,000 volumes and 300 current periodicals, the library provides access to electronic information including TC-CAT (an electronic catalog), computerized databases, and resources from thousands of libraries and worldwide information providers via computer networks including the internet/world wide web.

Computer

Between the main Dryden campus and the three extension centers, TC3 provides more than 300 computers for student use. Students have available a wide variety of applications including the world wide web and e-mail.

Students

About 3,000 full-time and part-time students from 51 New York State counties, 11 other states, and over 70 countries attend TC3.

International Programs

Every summer the College offers an intensive study option for students from universities in other countries. This Global Connections program gives these students the chance to pursue degrees from Tompkins Cortland.

Transfer

Many TC3 graduates transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The College has numerous articulation agreements, which facilitate transfer. Some of the Colleges TC3 has agreements with are Cornell University, Ithaca College, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Cortland, and Wells College.

Graduate Success

Ninety percent of graduates seeking employment find jobs, with more than three quarters in their field of study. Most of those who do not seek employment successfully transfer to a variety of outstanding four-year colleges and universities.

Athletics

TC3 competes in the Mid-State Athletic Conference in Region III of the NJCAA. Eight intercollegiate teams are fielded with over 150 student-athletes participating. Plans are in the works to add new sports to the offerings soon.

TC3.biz

TC3 plays a unique role in the expansion of educational opportunities, providing local businesses with highly skilled employees in a wide variety of occupational curriculums. Through TC3.biz, TC3 offers workshops and seminars to encourage vocational and professional development, and customizes programs designed to meet the changing needs of the local businesses.
