2008 Panthers Club Golf Outing

RESULTS FROM FRIDAY, MAY 23
STONEHEDGES GOLF COURSE

24 teams competed in this year’s Panther Club fundraising event at the par 72 Stonehedges G.C. in Groton. On a day of difficult conditions due to high winds it was a team of former Panther golfers with National tournament experience that came out on top.

Clint Chaffee and J.T. Salzer (from the Tompkins flight) carded a three-under par 69 to win the overall championship by 3 shots over Cartmill and Briegle and 5 shots over Coach Craig Tucker and son Chris.

In the Cortland division, it was another TC3 alum shooting the winning score as (Jim) MacLain and Burda shot a 77, besting 2nd place finishers Arnold & Ceriello by eight shots.

In all, sixteen TC3 alumni competed in the field. Look for the third annual event at the end of May in 2009.
