TC3 and the Flu

Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 flu is in our community. Several members of the TC3 community are experiencing flu-like illness. At this time, the recommendation for anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms (a fever and one or more of the following: cough, fatigue, sore throat, body aches, vomiting, headache) is to self-isolate until symptom-free for at least 24 hours. You do not need to come to the health center, but you should contact the health center by phone if your condition worsens (such as you develop difficulty breathing, pain in the chest, sudden dizziness, or severe or persistent vomiting). You should also contact a health care professional if you have flu-like symptoms and you have underlying health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or heart, lung, or kidney disease.
