Sebastian Bucknor’s journey from Ghana to Tompkins Cortland Community College is one of our first inspiring Commencement stories this year. Growing up in Ghana with an American-raised father, Sebastian spent the first ten years of his life immersed in an environment that fostered his love for art.

Tompkins Cortland Community College student Haichuan Gu has won the annual statewide Math League competition of the New York State Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges (NYSMATYC). Gu was also part of the TC3 team that finished second in the state.

Enrollment Services Specialist Kelley Poire has been named the Tompkins Cortland Community College Employee of the Month for May. The Employee of the Month program recognizes individuals who exemplify the values and mission of the College with their outstanding service and attitude.
